The new unit combines traditional business tracking information such as location, engine on/off, and speed violations, with automatic and on-demand real-time temperature reports. The system can be configured to send text message and e-mail alerts if thermal readings exceed the range set by managers.
Shippers of valuable perishable product will appreciate the benefits of the Haas H1410-RVS (Refrigerated Van Sensor). Immediate notification of a refrigeration unit failure could result in the rescue of a full truckload of merchandise. Transport and delivery policies and procedures can be formulated based on the facts as presented on strip chart reports.
The H1410-RVS consists of a GPS tracker, an integrated cell phone, a built-in back-up battery re-charged by the vehicle alternator, a temperature probe, and an antenna. It remains available for 90 days and until then is downloadable to an Excel spreadsheet. Temperatures outside of a configurable pre-set range can result in immediate e-mail and cell phone text

News Release: HAAS GPS LAUNCHES NEW BUSINESS TRACKER Culver City, CA, November 9, 2008 –
Haas GPS has introduced its H1400 Business Tracker to join the successful Text-N-Track H1000 Personal Tracker introduced late last year. The new H1400 uses an entirely different back-end program planned to appeal to fleet owners. This new software enables a greater capacity for alerts, measurements and record-keeping. Additionally, every fleet vehicle and its description can appear on a single map at the same time.
The H1400 Business Tracker was designed with a company’s ability to manage in mind. Now, small business owners and managers can conserve fuel and reduce the possibilities of accidents by monitoring the speed of every company vehicle. Job sites can be configured to show the arrival and departure of service or delivery vehicles for every account, up to 99, on a route. Time cards can be compared to automatic location reports to verify the accuracy of wage claims. Even vehicle idle times can be reported to promote lowering fuel usage.
Stated Haas GPS CEO, Jeff Haas, “Our H1000 Personal Tracker can help train a teen driver, or keep tabs on an elderly driver. With a few tweaks to our hardware and a more robust control panel, we came up with the enhanced capabilities of the H1400 Business Tracker. It helps a company recognize opportunities to cut costs in these tough economic times. Having a driver lower his or her speed, can contribute to safety and fuel conservation. Monitored drivers are honest drivers. GPS trackers pay for themselves in a few months.”
Said Haas, “Twelve Volt dealers already know clients with fleets who can buy multiple trackers.” Custom installers rarely see volume sales such as those possible when selling to fleets.

Haas GPS has introduced its H1400 Business Tracker to join the successful Text-N-Track H1000 Personal Tracker introduced late last year.
The new H1400 uses an entirely different back-end software program planned to appeal to fleet owners. This enables more measurements and a greater capacity for alerts and record-keeping. Additionally, every fleet vehicle and its description can appear on a single map.
The H1400 Business Tracker was designed to help manage a company’s fleet. Now, small business owners and fleet managers can monitor speed and idle times to control fuel consumption. Jobsites can be configured to show the arrival and departure of service or delivery vehicles for every account, up to 99, on a route. Time cards can be compared to automatic location reports.
Stated Haas GPS CEO, Jeff Haas, “Now that we have two distinct systems, we are able to more closely match the needs of our clientele. The Text-N-Track H1000 Personal Tracker enables the parent of a teen driver to send a text message command to the tracker by cell phone. Within minutes, a return text message provides an address nearest the teen’s vehicle. On the other hand, the H1400 Business Tracker can report a moving vehicle’s location every five, ten, or fifteen minutes. This kind of information should put an end to drivers performing “side-jobs” with company equipment. Business trackers can quickly pay for themselves.”

News Release: HAAS GPS DEBUTS GROUND BREAKING GPS TRACKER AUTO SECURITY SYSTEM Culver City, CA, December 21, 2007 –
Haas GPS has introduced the Haas Text-N-Track™ H1000 GPS Tracker, a revolutionary new product for enhanced vehicle security and monitoring.
The Text-N-Track H1000 offers standard features that enable owners to locate their vehicle in real-time via cell phone or computer, receive alerts if the vehicle is stolen or towed, set maximum speed limits, geographic boundaries and curfew times and receive immediate notification if any conditions have been violated. The H1000 has virtually unlimited applications for tracking vehicles, including sales managers monitoring field sales calls, rental car companies, or managers of large fleets of vehicles. Insurance companies have also expressed keen interest in the system and some offer discounts for vehicles equipped with the GPS Tracker.
It can also offer parents of new teen drivers peace of mind, allowing them to track their teen’s driving habits. According to Jeff Haas, President of Haas GPS, “The H1000 GPS Tracker has tremendous commercial value for tracking the movement of vehicles and is a priceless investment that gives parents of new teen drivers a lot of security and peace of mind. They will know where their kids are, if they’re speeding and if they are where they said they would be.”
The H1000 can also keep track of vehicle maintenance schedules (oil changes, tune-ups, etc.), and will alert the owner when the vehicle’s battery starts to run down. In addition to its standard features, several optional features can be included, such as “Remote Door Lock/Unlock”, “Car-Finder”, which can locate your vehicle in a shopping mall or sport’s stadium’s parking lot by flashing the lights and sounding the horn, and “Starter Interrupt”, which prevents unauthorized use of the vehicle. The system’s “Heightened Security” feature can ‘supercharge’ the vehicle’s alarm system by notifying the owners if the alarm is triggered with a text message to their cell phone. The H1000 is safe, secure, and easy to use, and its features can be tailored to the customer’s needs on a home computer.
The Haas Text-N-Track H1000 GPS Tracker offers more useful features, simpler installation and greater long-term affordability than other GPS tracking systems. Once installed, the H1000 comes with a password protected Control Station and unlimited monitoring and messaging on an annual subscription equaling only $15.00 per month, paid annually. No extra fees or overcharges means the H1000 is less expensive to own and use in the long term.
The Haas Text-N-Track H1000 GPS Tracker has a suggested retail of $695.00 and is available for immediate shipment.
